What can 20 people do with the same beads and findings?
|
Since 2005, the Delaware Valley Bead Society has been finding out with a members-only design competition, the DVBS Bead Challenge. Members may make either a wearable or non-wearable object. DVBS provides a kit and members supply the creativity. Final projects must contain 70% of the items in one kit, and one item may be added. The prizes are beautiful beads or bead assortments.

The Rules
1. You can enter in both categories, but you must purchase separate kits. Materials cannot be combined.
2. You may substitute any other stringing material for the .019 beading wire included.
3. You may substitute a different clasp.
4. You must use 70% of the kit materials.
5. 22 ga. sterling silver wire is in the kit. We are counting sterling silver wire as an item. You may use the 22 ga. (adding more 22 ga. is ok) or substitute one other gauge sterling silver wire in any length. Any other kind of wire (copper, brass, gold, etc.) will count as your added item.
6. You may add one item of your choice in any quantity you want. For example, 200 Blue Swarovski bicones.
