Membership in the Bead Society gives you:- Support for your creativity through a network of fellow beaders, wireworkers and fiber artists;
- An environment where everyone is welcome - from beginner to advanced;
- 11 monthly membership meetings featuring guest speakers, demonstrations and workshops (we skip December and devote January's meeting to a holiday party);
- A chance to explore new techniques and learn about resources;
- Discounts at local bead shops (see list below);
- A listing in the members' gallery on this website;
- Information about local craft shows and other sales opportunities;
- Invitations to society-sponsored half-day or full-day workshops;
- Opportunities to participate in society-sponsored group shows or booths at area craft festivals;
- Day trips with fellow members to beading sources and museums;
- Information about publishing opportunities, competitions, and web and store specials;
- Participation in community service activities; and
- A voice in suggesting programs and activities that will help you and your artwork.

Dues
Individual dues are $25 and are renewable each January. People who join after July 1 pay $12.50. Businesses may join for $40 and send two representatives to meetings.
